Oakland Housing Equity Roadmap: Led the development and City Council adoption of comprehensive anti-displacement, affordable housing new financing, and healthy housing policies using racial disparity analysis and inclusive planning process. More here.
Oakland International Blvd Corridor TOD: Co-led public/private planning & implementation for equitable development-–Oakland Sustainable Neighborhoods Initiative. Outcomes included Community Planning Leaders program, City re-prioritizing neighborhoods, BRT Mitigation program, over $20 million in competitive cultural arts, housing and transportation grants, mapping of community catalyst projects and opportunity sites, and East Oakland Black Cultural Zone.
Alameda County Anti-Displacement: Led design of comprehensive anti-displacement policies and implementation resources ($65 million +) utilizing racial disparity analysis — more here.
One-Stop Housing Services: Led design and operations of Oakland Housing Resource Center, providing comprehensive outreach and housing services because people in crisis shouldn’t hear “No, we can’t help you.”
Blighted Land into Community Gems: Led design and implementation of nationally recognized projects that transformed problem lands in disinvested neighborhoods into community catalyst projects.
